American Weather & Hydrology, LLC Timothy E. Wright , B.S., Meteorologist, Climatologist, Weather Forecaster, Instrumentation Specialist, and Renewable Energy Development Specialist. Professional experience in climatic research, meteorology, weather forecasting, data analysis, weather modeling, and scientific instrumentation.EDUCATION. Timothy Wright earned an Associate Degree (A.A.) in Environmental Studies from Santa Rosa Community College, California, then a B.S. in Geography, with specialties in Meteorology and Climatology, from Utah State University. EXPERIENCE. Mr. Wright was a Climatologist at the Utah Climate Center, assisting the State Climatologist in research, installation and maintenance of weather stations, and developing mathematical weather forecast models. He also taught Biometeorology 2000 at Utah State University. His experience at Utah State University also includes the meteorological determination of the best sites for wind energy turbines in the northwestern Utah desert. He has taught at Bridgerland Applied Technology College, Logan, UT, including courses in algebra, calculus, statistics, chemistry, physics, geology, meteorology, oceanography, and biology. He developed new courses in a wide range of subjects and improved a number of existing courses. He revamped department organization to increase enrollment. Mr. Wright worked as a Weather Forecaster, Air Pollution Meteorologist, Research Climatologist, and Website Designer at Sonoma Technology, Inc., Petaluma, CA from 2000 to 2007. His research involved the improvement of forecast performance and analysis of weather and climate conditions conducive to poor air quality. His website design included the EPA's Airnow.gov website. Mr. Wright has become increasingly involved in forensic meteorology, climatology, and environmental science. He has recently performed forensic discovery in meteorology and environmental building regulations for a fatal snow incident case in the western United States. CURRENT AFFILIATIONS. Tim Wright is a Founding Partner and the Vice President, Registered Agent, and Principal Energy Specialist of Environmental Science & Energy, Inc. He continues as a meteorological, climatological, environmental sciences, renewable energy, and instrumentation consultant to, Associated Science Experts, LLC and to American Weather & Hydrology, LLC and California Weather & Earth Sciences. He is a weather forecaster for the film industry, major media events, and the roofing and construction industries. He is a certified hazardous materials course instructor for these companies. He is also employed as a weather modeler, data analyst, and quality control specialist for an outside private firm. Mr. Wright has become increasingly involved in forensic meteorology, climatology, and environmental science under American Weather & Hydrology, LLC. He has recently performed forensic discovery in meteorology and environmental building regulations for a fatal snow incident case in the western United States. He continues cold pocket temperature research in the mountains of northern Utah, where he has measured the lowest temperature records for the United States in various months of the year. On April 1, 2008, he personally witnessed and measured the lowest ever temperature recorded for the month of April in the United States. Mr. Wright has taught again at Bridgerland Applied Technology College in Logan, UT, as he has been working toward his Master's Degree. PRESENT AND FUTURE PLANS. As Vice President and Principal Energy Specialist of Environmental Science & Energy, Inc., Mr. Wright is working with Dr. Charles B. Pyke, Philip K. Barone, Dr. William J. Trott, Paul Braden, and others in the: Development of new-technology wind, solar, hydroelectric, and other renewable energy for individual homes, farms, schools, and businesses. Development of the latest-technology scientific instrumentation. Determination of construction defects, foundation failures, and seismic and landslide hazards Provision of climatic, meteorological, hydrologic, seismic / landslide, and coastal / ocean data, plus data analysis. Safety and restoration projects for water reclamation, dams, power plants, and transmission lines. Protection and restoration of beaches, shorelines, harbors, marinas, lagoons, wetlands, and coral reefs. Protection, repair, and reconstruction of bridges, highways, and public works infrastructure .Conservation of natural resources and environmental planning. Tim continues as a consultant to Associated Science Experts, LLC, American Weather & Hydrology, LLC, and California Weather & Earth Sciences, as he works toward the completion of his Master's Degree and plans to follow with studies leading to a Ph.D. degree in meteorology.
